Age: 22

Hometown: Birmingham

Twitter: @aquabatiquebeth

Other Occupation: I am currently studying at the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy at Solihull College as one of my dreams is to own my own company in the entertainment industry.

Synchronised Swimming Background: I started synchronised swimming having taken trampolining, gymnastics and swimming lessons as a child. My older sister Niki took up synchro and I followed on a couple of years later when I was six. I went on to win local and regional titles before being selected for the England team aged 15 and then the British Junior team when I was 16.
At 17 I was selected on to the British Team and trained full time at the High Performance Centre for 18 months before deciding to retire from competitive sport.
Since then I have been lucky enough to use the skills I learnt to perform all over the world with Aquabatix.

Idol: I have many idols and look up to anyone who has worked hard to achieve something but stayed true to themselves along the way.

Your biggest influence: My mum is the biggest influence in my life. She is a very strong, hard working woman and has bought me up with the confidence to achieve whatever I want to.

Favourite memory: Becoming British Junior Champion in 2006

Most Prized Possession: Got to be my iPhone. Boring and cliché but I don’t know how we lived without them. Our Aquabatique Whatsapp group is mental!

Interesting fact about you: I have two completely different ears. They are completely different shapes and sizes. No one ever believes me but it’s true.

Ambitions: My dream is to work in the entertainment industry for ever! I love performing and hope to make the most I can of my career with Aquabatique and Aquabatix as well as setting up my own business with in the industry.
